  • Terms & Conditions for Online Scheduling and Communication Agreement

  • By scheduling service with Boston Air Duct Cleaning (BADC Inc.), you acknowledge and agree to the following Terms and Conditions.

 

1.General Service Conditions

  • Adult Presence Required – An adult (18+) must be present when our technician arrives and throughout the service.

  • Confirmation of Appointment – Scheduled time is confirmed only once you receive a text or email confirmation from our office.

  • Service Duration – Cleaning typically takes between 1–4 hours depending on the system size and layout.

  • Access Requirement – The technician must have access to all vents, registers, and service areas.

  • Arrival Window – Appointments include a one-hour arrival window, which may be adjusted by Boston Air Duct Cleaning based on traffic, weather, or scheduling needs.

 

2.Payment Terms

  • Payment Due at Service – Payment is required on-site upon completion of the cleaning. We accept credit card payments only.

  • Late Fees – A late fee may apply to any payment not received on the day of service.

  • Landlords or Management Companies – Must provide and maintain a valid credit card on file when scheduling a job.

  • Travel Fees – Certain jobs requiring longer driving times may incur an additional travel fee, disclosed prior to arrival.

 

3.Liability Waiver – Property & Surfaces

  • Surface Damage – You release Boston Air Duct Cleaning (BADC Inc.) and its technicians from any responsibility for cosmetic or structural damage to plaster, drywall, wood trim, paint, screws, vent covers, or surrounding surfaces that may occur during the normal course of service.

  • Vent Covers & Hidden Conditions – If vent covers cannot be opened due to risk of damage, we will inform you. Hidden damage, loose fittings, or weaknesses cannot be determined until covers are removed.

  • Dust Exposure – Some dust may be released during cleaning. We recommend scheduling professional house cleaning after the duct cleaning service.

  • Insulation, Screws, and Nails Disclaimer – Boston Air Duct Cleaning is not responsible for any insulation, screws, or nails that become loose, dislodged, damaged, or removed during the cleaning process. Many of these materials are located inside vents, behind drywall, or within duct systems and may already be unstable prior to service.

 

4.Liability Waiver – Health & Safety

  • Health Issues – By scheduling service with Boston Air Duct Cleaning (BADC Inc.), you acknowledge that duct cleaning may disturb dust, debris, or other airborne particles. We are not responsible for any health reactions, respiratory issues, or allergy-related symptoms that may occur during or after service.

  • Sensitive Individuals – For clients with asthma, respiratory conditions, or severe allergies, we recommend remaining away from the service area or property for at least 24 hours following cleaning.

  • Mold & Mildew – Our cleaning removes dust and debris but does not guarantee the removal or prevention of mold or mildew, which requires specialized remediation.

  • Odor & Smell Disclaimer – Boston Air Duct Cleaning does not guarantee the removal or prevention of odors or smells that may originate from HVAC systems, ducts, vents, or other building materials. Odors may persist or return due to moisture, bacteria, smoking, pets, or other environmental factors beyond our control.

  • Safety of Pets and Occupants – All pets and individuals (especially children and elderly family members) should remain clear of work areas while technicians are operating equipment.

  • Temporary Residue or Odor – Some minor airborne dust or temporary odor may occur after cleaning. We recommend ventilating the home by opening windows or running the HVAC fan for several hours.

 

5.Liability Waiver – Equipment & Systems

  • Dryer Vents & Appliances – By scheduling service, you release Boston Air Duct Cleaning and its technicians from responsibility for:

  • Structural issues with dryer vents, vent covers, or flaps.

  • Any damage, water or gas leaks, or issues with dryers or washers, including those caused by moving appliances.

  • Damage to venting systems inside walls, ceilings, or concealed areas.

  • Unreported multiple dryer vents at the same address.

  • Cleaning does not include the dryer or filter hub/trap.

  • Bathroom Fans – We are not responsible for any mechanical, electrical, or noise-related issues that occur after cleaning.

  • HVAC Systems – You release Boston Air Duct Cleaning and its technicians from responsibility for any mechanical or electrical issues with HVAC systems, heaters, heat pumps, or ductless units, including but not limited to:

  • Blower motors, coils, compressors, condensers, air handlers, or other electrical/mechanical parts.

  • Failures, malfunctions, or leaks arising during or after cleaning.

  • Our service is limited to cleaning; we do not perform mechanical or electrical repairs.

  • Annual service may include cleaning of blowers and coils and filter replacement (we can provide filters or clients may supply their own).

 

6.Scheduling & Cancellations

  • Rescheduling – Boston Air Duct Cleaning reserves the right to cancel or reschedule service due to weather, emergencies, or unforeseen circumstances. We will notify you as soon as possible.
    Boston Air Duct cleaning reserves the right to refuse service due to late cancellation, multiple cancellation , 
    unsafe environment , hazardous conditions , fails to follow our policy or payment terms.

7.Communications Consent

  • Customer Communication – By submitting your contact information, you consent to receive communications via phone, text, or email from Boston Air Duct Cleaning for scheduling, estimates, reminders, recommendations, marketing information, and follow-ups.
    You may opt out of non-essential marketing communications at any time.

 

8.Photos & Documentation

  • Service Photos – Technicians may take before-and-after photos or videos for quality assurance, insurance, or training purposes.
    If you do not wish for your project photos to be used in marketing, please notify your representative before service.

9.Policy Updates

  • Updates to Terms – Boston Air Duct Cleaning, Inc. reserves the right to modify these Terms & Conditions at any time. Updated versions will be posted on our website and will apply to all future appointments.
